CubbyWatch: Connection and location tools built for everyday family routines
CubbyWatch is a kids smart watch designed to give children a simple way to stay reachable while parents keep the key controls on their own phone. It combines real-time GPS tracking, two-way voice calling and SOS alerts in a device that stays on the wrist instead of sitting in a backpack.
Location tools are managed through the companion parent app. Parents can check the current position, review location history and define safe zones that can trigger an alert when the watch leaves a marked area. These tools are intended to reduce repeated check-ins while still giving families a way to see where the watch is.
For communication, CubbyWatch supports two-way voice calling and approved contacts. The supplied product information states that only contacts approved in the parent app can call or message the watch. The dedicated SOS button is designed to contact emergency contacts and share the watch location when pressed.
The parent app is also used for practical controls such as school-time quiet settings, contact approval and safe-zone configuration. The app supports iOS and Android, while the watch operates independently with a compatible standard SIM card and a basic data plan.
Battery life is listed as up to 70 hours on a full charge, depending on use, and parents can receive a low-battery notification before the watch powers down. Actual network performance, GPS accuracy and battery duration can vary with signal conditions, settings and usage patterns.
